Sonoma was our 6:00 PM destination for Jeff's 50th birthday celebration. We planned a few stops along the way besides enjoying the wildflowers from Paradise to Napa Valley. Once we reached Calistoga, we made our first stop at the Petrified Forest for a short hike and a picnic lunch:
Our next stop was in Santa Rosa at the Charles Schulz Museum where we posed with all the Peanuts characters and checked out the history of the comic strip:
As soon as we arrived at the Sebastiani Winery in Sonoma, we were served champagne to begin the party. Then everyone gathered inside for dinner and birthday cake.
